Color ANALYSIS
At this appointment you will be tested in natural lighting to decide the group of colors, or season as we call it, that look best on you based on the undertones of your skin. You’ll go through world-class, science-based system during which I’ll “style” you with precision-dyed fabric drapes.
Through this technique, I’ll see how your complexion reacts and determine which color family you fall into. You will be able to see it too!
There are four that we call your “season:” spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
Once we've determined your season, you will experience the House of Colour signature 90-second makeup where you will discover a simple set of products that anyone can use, plus the perfect lipstick colors for your season (yes, the perfect lipstick color exists!) The House of Colour makeup collection is a premium cosmetics line developed and formulated specifically to compliment your season, so you can be confident that every single color assigned to your season loves you.

What Can I EXPECT?
Once we determine your season, we'll go through each individual drape color in your spectrum to determine your star colors and help you learn more about how you can best use your colors in your wardrobe. You'll leave with a personalized color palette, renewed confidence, and the clarity of knowledge of what to do next to bring your best colors to life.
You’ll take home a fan with all of your colors of your season inside, as well as a booklet with your wardrobe colors personally noted star colors for you and tips for hair color, jewelry, makeup, and more!
The results you receive will never change based on your age, so you will have this information for a lifetime! Wearing your best colors helps you look younger, healthier, and more vibrant! It decreases fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots and brightens your face! So not only will you feel more beautiful in your own skin, but shopping will be easier, you’ll save money, and you’ll stop buying clothes that don’t make you shine! Your closet will all coordinate and getting ready everyday will be so much easier!! And my favorite part - everything in your closet will coordinate and getting ready everyday will actually be fun. Revisit your season and build upon the foundation of your personal color analysis, in this two hour session, we will:

Advanced Color Analysis is a customized experience that is only offered in a one-on-one setting. Advanced Color Analysis sessions are only open to individuals who have completed their color analysis from a House of Colour consultant.
Makeup CONSULTATION
Once we’ve determined your season, come back into the studio and we’ll deep dive into your season’s make up options. Foundation, bronzer, blush along with all eye and lip products. You’ll see skin clearer, eyes brighter, and teeth whiter. We’ll find your best shades and teach you how to apply them. Whether it’s for a special event or an everyday look, knowing your best shades of makeup will give you the confidence you deserve.

Color appointments can only be done IN PERSON, during the day, with natural daylight. You’ll go through our science-based system during which I’ll “style” you with precision-dyed fabric drapes. Through this technique, you’ll be bare faced, no makeup, no self tanner, so we’ll be able to see how your complexion reacts to different colors and tones. For example, we’ll compare two different blues, and we’ll see which one is your best. From this process, we’ll be able to determine which color family you fall into. Phone screens, computer screens and any other cameras often “fix” lighting and color on their own, not giving an accurate representation of what’s actually happening.
Once we’ve found your season, we’ll do a quick 90 second makeup including mineral powder, mascara and the correct shades and colors of lipstick and blush. You’ll find you need less makeup in the right colors, and finally find that red lip that’s perfect for you! Not to mention a bunch of other great colors that were made just for you.
Not a fan of makeup, or don’t wear any? Not to worry. I always customize it to you!

Never! My goal is to expand how many colors you wear, not limit them! I find often that someone might think a color is bad on them, perhaps pink, but really just needed to find the right shade of pink! You’ll be able to see which colors love you best and why. In every appointment we always find colors in your season that you never even thought about wearing before! We will also talk about how to transition to your season with your current clothing. If you feel like some of your favorite items aren’t in your best colors I'll show you how they can actually work for you.
You won’t need to go shopping immediately, although you might want to after what you’ve seen! I’ll teach you how to make things work for you now, and then when you add new things in the future in your season. Then you’ll start to fill your closet with your best color, and with items that all harmonize together. Making getting dressed so much easier each day! All your tops harmonize, and look great with all your bottoms. Not to mention packing for a trip will be a breeze when it all works together!

Your season is based on the undertones of your skin, therefore you were born with it, and it will never change! Children who get color analysis, will be able to have the knowledge of their best colors all the way into adulthood!

Appointments take place during daytime hours at my in-home studio in Kenmore, Washington. Color analysis must be done in person with natural, daytime light. If you live out of town, I promise it will be worth the trip! If you have any special circumstances, please reach out to see if we can make something work! The process we use is based on scientific research using our precision dyed drapes. There are 144 of them! During this process that uses your natural skin undertones and the changing of colors, we are able to see subtle differences in your skin tone to find the colors that love you best! We’ll see which colors make your skin glow, and which might be too heavy or harsh. It really is individual for each person! This cannot be done by a simple online test, we have to use our eyes to see how your complexion reacts to the various color tones. Phones, computers and videos can distort color therefore to get an accurate reading it must be done in person with natural daylight. You’ll see why at your appointment, as you’ll see it yourself.

Yes. It’s a fun process to watch, and they’ll learn a lot of information too! Usually the observing person can see the changes just as much as the person in the chair for color analysis! You will be able to book with a small group which consists of 2-3 people. If you have a group larger than 3, let me know and we can discuss options.
